1Password crash v. 7.9.1 on IOS [update to 7.9.2 or update iOS if at all possible]

ios 12.5.5, iphone6, 1Password app not opening. Fix urgently required. Need to re-evaluate my password system as I have been caught out big time here.

Out of our hands at this point I'm afraid. We've submitted it to Apple for review and set it to release as soon as it is approved.

Ben, do you have a timescale for release of 7.9.2?

There is not; I'm sorry. For immediate satisfaction the best I could recommend would be updating to the latest version of iOS. The only other alternative I can offer would be to wait for 7.9.2 to become available.

Ben, I don't have membership and my last backup was in May2021, but have since then added a lot more data which is not backed up!
I wasn't expecting any issues with the update as previous ones have been without any issues whatsoever.
Is there any option PLEASE to get me back to where I was yesterday?

Upgrading iOS shouldn't affect the data within any apps (including 1Password). I've never had an issue when going from one iOS version to another that resulted in data loss. That said, we recommend using a 1Password membership (required, going forward) and having a copy of your Emergency Kit for exactly that reason. If some strange phenomenon were to happen with iOS your encrypted data would still be safely stored off-site. Do you have a 1Password membership? Alternatively, if you do not, do you have your data synced with iCloud, Dropbox, or another device?

Thanks Ben, so assuming I do upgrade my phone IOS to 15.1, will all my password data still be there after the upgrade?
Because at present I can't even do a backup of my password data.
