1Password desktop app keeps launching
For the past few builds, the 1Password desktop app automatically launches if I interact with the browser extension. This happens in all browsers on my system (Safari, Chrome, Orion, Firefox, etc.). T...
Think I found the issue. I have a backup drive that's a mirror of my system, and the 1Password app on that drive was somehow added to launchservices. Once I unmounted that drive and deleted the launchservivces cache the problem stopped.
I'm not sure if it's a bug that both apps were somehow registered, or if this is expected behaviour.

ModeratorI'm happy that you were able to resolve the issue, thank you for sharing the solution with the community!
Due to the fact that 1Password for Mac has multiple components that communicate with each other extra copies can cause confusion with that communication on macOS. I recommend excluding the 1Password app from your backup, you can install install the app from our website if you need it.
