1Password Doesn't Start Automatically After 8.10.8 Update [Known Issue]
Starting with version 8.10.8, my 1Password for Mac app doesn't start automatically on startup. I have to start it manually, or click the 1Password icon in my browser, after which everything is normal.
1Password Version: 8.10.8
Extension Version: 2.12.0
OS Version: macOS 13.4.1
Browser: Chrome

Hello everyone,
I'm sorry to hear that 1Password is closing when you first start your Mac. Our development team is aware of this issue and are working on a fix. I recommend keeping 1Password updated so that you receive the fix as soon as it is released:
For now, as a temporary workaround, please open 1Password for Mac from your Application's folder after you restart your Mac. Manually opening the app will leave it running until the next time that you restart your Mac. We hope to get a permanent fix out as soon as possible.

Same issue here on my M1 MacBook Air with macOS Ventura 13.4.1 and 1Password 8.10.8 installed. My hope was / is that this issue disappears with one of the next updates. But till now it didn't disappear.
Maybe this is the same issue here?

I also write here the post I sent by opening another discussion. Sorry, I didn't realize this thread already existed.
Since I updated 1password for mac to version 9.10.8 it happens that, when I start my two mac computers (a mac studio m1 max and a macbook pro 14" m2 pro), the 1password icon in the menu bar first appears for a few seconds and then it disappears by itself. If I start 1password manually, the icon reappears and does not go away (until the computer is restarted) and everything works correctly. I tried to install the 8.10.9 developer version and the problem is not It shows up.
Is this a bug? Has anyone experienced the same problem? In the settings, the autostart option of 1password is turned on.
The operating system is macOS Ventura 13.4.1

Same issue.
I had a similar issue with another utility, and a reinstall and restart solved it. Not with 1P.
And I can't add it manually to the Login items list. I select 1P app in the dialog box, hit OK, and nothing shows in the Login list. I've added other applications since the OS upgrade, so it seems a 1P thing.
On 13.4.1 Mac Studio.

I have exactly the same issue as arthurgaudio. Fresh install of MacOS Ventura 13.4.1 and 1Password 8.10.8 on an M2 MacBook Air.
1Password Quick Access starts up briefly on reboot, stays in the menu bar for a few seconds, and then disappears. When I open 1Password manually, Quick Access stays in the menu bar permanently. But on reboot, it seems like it's closing after just a few seconds.
Note that I don't see any crash reports or problems associated with 1Password in the console. I thought I may have a bad install, but since others are running into this as well, it's pretty clear there's an issue here.

I have the same issue as of 8.10.8 on my 2023 M2 MacBook Pro. On startup, I can see the 1Password flash briefly in the menu bar and then disappear. After that, I have to start 1Password manually. "Start at login" is ticked under preferences, and if I check the system settings, I can see an entry for 1Password under "Login items" and the slider is on. It also says "2 items" for this entry.
Oddly, if I look in the following places, I see no plist file for 1Password:
/Library/LaunchDaemons/
/Library/LaunchAgents/
/Users//Library/LaunchAgents/ Shouldn't there by an entry in one of these places if there is an item under "Login Items" in the system settings?
Anyway, I hope you manage to sort this soon. Seems like a growing number of people are noticing it. I suspect it will start affecting more and more people as they restart their computers after the 8.10.8 releases between June 27-June 29.
