1password doesn't work in background without menubar item

Hi, I noticed that the 1P app doesn't work in the background when the menubar item is removed. I prefer to not use the menubar item because the menubar size is rather limited, and I don't have ...

It never crossed me that there would be third party apps to hide menubar items. Thanks!
I look forward to a native way to do it nevertheless :)
