1Password extension freezes the page on certain notifications

Recently, I've noticed a regression in 1Password Chrome browser extension where it started adding 'inert' attribute to the web page (as inspected in the 1Password injected extension script) upon 1Password notifications appearing but does not properly unset it upon the notification being dismissed (for certain type of notifications at least as described below)

Example repo steps

Browser used: chrome

1. https://webauthn.io/ with 1password extension enabled
2. Use username "XYZ" and register passkey through 1Password extension
3. Again, register passkey with the same username "XYZ"
4. 1Password extension prompts you to either add or replace an existing login item
5. Click "Add New Item"
6. Either save or dismiss the 1password notification
7. The background page can no longer be interacted with
