1Password Helper cant be found

I've been using 1Password for several years. Using Windows, extension is installed in Chrome, and after upgrading 1Password I get the error message that 1Password Helper can't be found when I try to use the extension

    Hi @tylerSue! It sounds as if you may still have our classic extension installed alongside 1Password 8 for Windows. 1Password 8 doesn't support the classic extension, and this will be why it's having trouble finding the 1Password helper. You can install our newest extension from this link:

    After adding this to Chrome, click the puzzle piece in your browser toolbar, then Manage extensions. Remove the extension labelled 1Password extension (desktop app required). Let us know how this goes!
