1password i3 startup
Hi,
I've been using 1password for a while now and I really like it. I am a linux user and I've been using 1password on Ubuntu desktop successfully for a while. I also use a window manager called i3 which works a bit different than Ubuntu and other window managers.
I can use 1password successfully in several different ways, but my issue comes up when I try to have 1password start up at login to i3.
in my i3 config I have the line
exec --no-startup-id 1password --silent
that does not successfully start 1password.
Also, I noticed that when running '1password --silent' from the command line, it isn't actually all that silent, and it stays attached to the terminal that started it.
I know this is pretty "out there" for a normal user but I thought I'd try.
