Our development team has recently released improvements in this area to address this issue. Those improvements should be included with 1Password for Windows version 8.12.10 (the current production version) and later. Are you still able to reproduce the issue using this latest version of 1Password?
I'm sorry for the inconvenience that this has caused and we'd like to make sure that we investigate this further if you do still see the issue with 8.12.10.

I reinstalled it on my secondary partition and it seems fixed. Before reinstalling it today I was on version 8.12.5 but didn't know it was not up to date, since in setting it said it was.
But good to see it already being fixed.
