I'm sorry that you're unable to sign into hollandamerica.com using a passkey saved in 1Password. The prompt that you're seeing is coming from the Apple Passwords app and not 1Password. I understand that you sometimes need to use Apple Passwords since it stores the passkey for your 1Password passkey beta account, can you temporarily try the following:
- Open Safari
- Click on Safari next to the Apple logo in the menu bar, then click Settings.
- Click Autofill.
- Turn off "Usernames and passwords".
Then in 1Password for Safari:
- Right-click on the 1Password icon in your Safari's toolbar and click Settings.
- Make sure that "Make 1Password the default password manager in this browser" is turned on.
- Click Autofill & save.
- Make sure that "Offer to save and sign in with passkeys" and "Offer to fill and save passwords" are both turned on.
Then try to use your passkey to sign into hollandamerica.com again. If that still doesn't work then are you able to test signing in with your passkey in another browser like Chrome or Firefox? Does everything work there?

Dave,
Thanks for responding! I checked the Safari and 1Password for Safari settings and they were already configured the way you suggested to configure them.
I then tried using the Arc browser to login. Here's where things got really interesting. When I clicked on the `Sign in with TouchID` button I get the following dialog:I clicked the `X` to cancel the dialog and I get the following dialog

Thanks for the reply. I've created a test account on the website in question and while I haven't been able to reproduce the issue that you reported in Safari, I was able to reproduce the issue that you're running into in Arc (where you see a prompt asking you to save a passkey) when using Safari on my Mac.
However, I've only reproduced this once and I was prompted to sign into hollandamerica.com using a four-digit code sent to my email address. Once I did that, and then signed out, I was able to sign in using my saved passkey and I can't reproduce the issue anymore in either Safari or Chrome.
So that I can investigate this further, I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from 1Password in Arc:
Send a diagnostics report (browser extension)
Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support@1password.com
With your email please include:- A link to this thread: https://www.1password.community/discussions/1password/1password-passkey-and-hollandamerica-com/153956

FWIW.. I uninstalled/reinstalled 1Password for Safari to see if that made a difference and it didn't. I'm currently in the process of uninstalling everything 1Password from my Mac and reinstalling to see if that helps. <sigh>On a slightly side note, is there a way for me to express my support/desire that 1Password for MacOS supports the Autofill API? From what I understand it would make 1Password for the Mac better.
Thanks for the help.
