If you use Safari as your main browser, then 1Password 7 previously did include the extension as a bundle, but we've split it out into its own thing, so that it can be updated separately without having to update all of 1Password, and to have feature parity with the other browsers' extensions as well. We do see some customers who miss the prompt to install the extension(s) when 1Password 8 first runs, but luckily it's easy enough to solve afterwards. If you ever need any help with 1Password, please do let us know. We'll be here to help. :)

Hi Grey
Thanks for your reply.
Now I feel a bit foolish! The extension wasn't installed.
Not sure why I assumed that it was? I guess I just assumed installing v8 also installed the extension.
Thanks.

Hey there infoarts
Without knowing for sure, it sounds like the 1Password browser extension might not be installed. If you're using Safari as your main browser, you'll need to install 1Password for Safari, which you can find here:
☞ Get started with 1Password in your browser
For any other supported browser, the extension you were using before will continue to work, as long as it doesn't contain "(desktop app required)" in its name – that's the older classic extension which isn't supported any longer.
If you have the appropriate extension installed and you're still having trouble, you might not have it pinned to your browser's toolbar: If you don't see the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar.
Give those things a try and let me know how you get on. I'll be here if you need further help. :)
