1Password/Mac unhides app window on menubar mouseover
updated manually (strange that it didn't relaunch afterward) and now on 1Password for Mac 8.10.64 (81064007) - with the same behavior

mvr I'm sorry for the late reply. Are you sill seeing the issue on the latest version (8.10.72)? If you are then can you post a screenshot of what you see when you hover over the menubar icon? Make sure that nothing sensitive is visible on the screen.
If you don't want to post the screenshot to the public community, please send it to support@1Password.com and include a link to this thread. After emailing in, you'll receive a reply from BitBot, our friendly robot assistant with a Support ID that looks something like [#ABC-12345-678]. Post that here, and I'll be able to locate your message and make sure it's gotten to the right place.

correct; it's still happening - all I see when I hover over the 1P menu bar icon, is "1Password"; screenshot attached:

Thank you for the screenshot, that helps to clarify things. That tooltip is normal and I see it as well. Can you tell me a little more about how you find the tooltip distracting? The tooltip only appears after you hover over the menu bar icon for about 2 seconds and other apps (but not all) also show a tooltip in the macOS menu bar to allow you to know what app you've hovering over.
Let me know and I can pass your feedback to the team.
