1pw not offering known login

So I have posted in other threads about 1pw not always playing nice with apps on my Mac. Here is an app On1 Raw 2022 that requests a login and there is no icon for 1pw in the login field nor does drag and drop work. This is why pin to desktop needs to be put back in 1PW8

Jack_P_1P, I do have quick access authorized in 1pw 8.7.1. However, instead of 1pw icon being ready in my app login space I need to (forgive me since I don't use many short-cut keys) I need to track upto the menu bar 1pw icon, click on it, enter the app name (most times it is not already listed in quick access) click on the 3 dots and scroll down to autofill. BTW, 1pw 8.7.1 does not remember the login information so every time I need to open, say Zoom, it's the same cumbersome multistep process.

1pw works great in the browser, at least in Firefox since the Safari extension does not auto unlock, and does a great job of autofill and when needed open and fill. 1pw is supposed to add to my security, it does do that well, and be easy to use with little effort than the initial master password. When 1pw works it's a simple one-step process, when not it's a multistep process that was easier to use, at least for me, in previous versions.

FYI, I just removed 1pw 7 and installed 1PW 8 and have installed the extension in Firefox. I will do the same for Safari later.

Sorry, I was confusing the icon for the suggested 1pw guess drop down when the cursor is placed in the sign in field. I have several desktop apps that require sign in to move forward with the app. A few that I've recently found are: Zoom, SkySafari Pro 6, Starry Night 8, On1 Photo Raw 2022. None of these, when the cursor is in the login field, produce any suggestion from 1pw8. The menu bar icon hasn't a clue to what app I'm in, so I have to do a search and I manually have to drag and drop each, username and password, into the appropriate fields. Autofill is not an option because when placing the cursor in the login field, nothing happens.

Autofill works with Firefox browser by either using the browser extension icon or the menu bar icon. Wish it worked for Desktop Apps. The only way to get 1pw to work with a desktop app is either using the menu bar icon, searching for the login name and doing an individual drag and drop login field which now requires multiple clicks, you know what would fix that is a pin to desktop. Oh, using command O brings up the login window data, but you still have to drag or copy each login field into the login space for the app.

    Hi @love2kruz:

Just to make sure we're all on the same page, whether you're using 1Password 7 or 1Password 8, you'll only see the 1Password icon in login fields in browsers, not native apps.

Does Universal Autofill work in that app if you press ⌘+\? Let me know. Just as an additional note, I removed your screenshot as it contained some personal information of yours.
