2 Factor Auth Code after Upgrade

Jack since the 2FA is set up on the website 1Passwrod.com what is wrong with using the 1P desktop or iPhone app for 2FA to 1Password.com, and why did I get that popup message. I am using Authy now but trying to understand the issue.
