Hello JohnLubben! 👋
Thank you for reaching out. You'll be asked for a six-digit two-factor authentication code if you've enabled two-factor authentication for your 1Password account in the past. When you enabled two-factor authentication you would have been prompted to scan a QR code using an authenticator app. Do you happen to have such an authenticator app installed on one of your devices? It might be installed on your phone or tablet if you have one. If you see the authenticator app then open the app and you should see the six-digit code there.
1Password does not send one-time passwords through email or text message.
If you're unable to locate your authenticate app, and you have access to 1Password on another device then you can temporarily turn off 2FA there: If you lose access to your authenticator app or security key
If that still doesn't help then please send an email to support@1Password.com and include a link to this thread as well as a screenshot of what you see on your screen. After emailing in, you'll receive a reply from BitBot, our friendly robot assistant with a Support ID that looks something like [#ABC-12345-678]. Post that here, and I'll be able to locate your message and take a look.
