2FA/TOTP timer only shown when 1Password has focus

I'm a heavy drag'n'drop user of any kind of fields including TOTP fields. As such it is annoying that the 30 Sec timer disappears when the 1Password window doesn't have the focus. So I have no idea...

Thank you for reaching out. As far as I'm aware, this is intentional so that 1Password doesn't use as many system resources updating the window every second when the app is in the background. Instead the timer continues to run and the window is updated with the new one-time password every 30 seconds.

I'll file a feature request to have the team look into whether it's possible to have the timer be shown when hovering over the TOTP field. Thanks for the suggestion!

As things stand, websites and apps will sometimes give you some extra time to enter the one-time password before it expires, even if you're over the 30 second mark. 🙂
