Account/vault constantly locks in v8

Glad to hear that helped a bit. It will probably take some adjustment but as you say, Touch ID will unlock both your accounts together, so this should only be a hurdle if you're unlocking by entering the account password. We'll be here if you need anything, so please do ask if that's the case. :)
