Always show passwords - does not work

I have this box checked, but my passwords are still hidden. 1Password Version: 8.10.6 Extension Version: 2.10.0 OS Version: Windows 10 Browser:_ Chrome

A related issue? Having set Always Show Passwords and Full Credit Card Numbers in V8.10.2 of the Windows desktop app they are not revealed by default in the Firefox app (Manage Security Settings in the Desktop App is set) I did not know about Ctrl R when I discovered this so that isn't the issue.....
