Thank you the feedback! I've filed your request with our product team. 

For the time being, here are a few suggestions that might help:

  • You can long-press on the 1Password icon and then tap Open Search to immediately open search.
  • You can use Android's one-handed mode feature on larger devices: Use one-handed mode
