Android Search Bar Location
Hi! Love the app, use it multiple times daily, and I've always been pleased with the team quickly resolving issues. One the most time consuming/uncomfortable things I do in the app is searching, bec...

ו'd like to second this, in a previous version of 1Password for Android, you had the search as a navigation item, and you could double tap it to search. Now, search is hard to reach and if I re-open 1Password when it was previously opened, it's even harder since I have to navigate multiple times and possibly clear the search manually by deleting all characters.
It's highly inconvenient. Best solution would be to revert it to what it was. Easily reachable from the bottom with 1 hand, easily opens the keyboard for typing. Also, an X to clear search would be very hseful.
This feedback has been given and repeated several times in the last year at least. It's very disappointint to get a generic "I'll forward this" response and then for nothing to happen.
The experience has been greatly downgraded, and I really wish the team would listen to this feedback. As a user of 1Password for several years, and an advocate for the app, I find it very disheartening every time I need to search something (which is frankly om 90% of the times I open the app) to be required to do multiple navigation steps just to start a clean search.
PLEASE look into this seriously.
P.S. long-tapping the app icon and going to search from the only works if the app is already unlocked. If it's locked, it unlocks and lands on the home screen.

26 days agoThank you so much for sharing your feedback about search in 1Password for Android. We know how important it is to quickly find what you need, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to let us know what would make the experience better for you.
At the moment, based on the feedback we’ve received from many customers across our different support channels, we don’t have plans to change how search works right now. That said, our team is always exploring ways to make the app more helpful and intuitive, and your input plays a big role in guiding those improvements.
We’re grateful for your perspective and the team will continue to iterate on the experience in future updates.
