Hello folks,
Our team has released improvements to how 1Password interacts in form fields in the upcoming releases of Safari for macOS Tahoe and Safari Technology Preview. Those improvements are now available in version 8.11.9 available in the App Store: 1Password for Safari
If you see other issues after updating then please let me know.

The safari extension is completely unusable on macOS Tahoe beta.
1password button next to the input box will disappear after you click it.
I will move my password to apple password too.

4 months agoThank you for helping us to test 1Password on the beta version of macOS. The issue that you noted is something that we're aware of and tracking in the beta version of macOS 26 Tahoe. Our team is working to release a fix in time for the stable release of macOS 26 Tahoe.

Yeah. This is a typical Apple behavior. If you don't follow the method they provide, you will encounter various problems. Native autofill will solve it.

Thank you for the update! I’m hopeful the work around will be ready in time. Sorry to keep hammering about native autofill, but, IMO, this is a perfect example of the need for native autofill. There likely wouldn’t be any disruption to native autofill, even if Safari isn’t updated in time.
