App integration not working with Chrome and Brave browser extensions

Have you made sure to install both 1Password for Linux and Brave/Chrome using an installation method other than Snap or Flatpak?

Doh! 🤦‍♂️ That was it exactly. After reinstalling the browsers from deb packages, it works as expected.
