App main window not showing in GNOME

I had similar symptoms on Ubuntu 22.04 with Gnome on Wayland. Errors such as

led me to a thread on https://github.com/electron/electron/issues/45642. I solved the problem by disabling Hardware Acceleration in 1Password, which I was able to change by opening Settings from the menu bar icon.
