Authelia autofill broken since latest 1Password update
Hello, I'm using Authelia to login in 99% of my services so this was worth creating an account here to report that the latest 1Password update broke the autofill feature with Authelia.
The issue is happening on any Windows 10/11 desktop computers no matter which browser it is. Tested with Firefox and Chrome both updated to the latest version in date of writing this post.
When presented with this screen;
If I press my credentials button, I'm redirected to the Reset password? link that's under the SIGN IN button.
I believe you can understand the frustration since it has been working all the years I had 1Password and it just started happening for the past month or so.
Thank you for fixing this!

Autosubmit sends you to the "Register" page instead of logging in at https://health.aetna.com/login

Thanks, that worked.

Hello TheIbis, thanks for reaching out. I sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience that this issue has caused. I've added you as an affected user to our internal reporting.
Does turning off the Sign in automatically after autofill option in the 1Password extension resolve the issue? Here are the steps again for reference:
- Open Safari.
- Right-click the 1Password icon in Safari's toolbar and select "Settings".
- On iOS, tap the 1Password icon > Menu ( ☰ ) > Settings.
- In the Autofill & save section, turn off the "Sign in automatically after autofill" option.
I look forward to your reply.

I can confirm this happens in Safari on iOS, iPadOS and MacOS. Very frustrating!

Thanks for confirming that turning off autosubmit allows you to workaround the issue. Hopefully our developers are able to release a permanent fix in a future update soon.

Hello DarkMap. Thank you for reaching out. I'm sorry about the issue you're running into with 1Password in the browser.
harrinp1, I'm glad to hear the Nightly version of 1Password in the browser is working for you.
I suspect the issue you're running into is related to the new Autosubmit feature in the 1Password extension. I reported this issue to our development team, and we are working on a fix.
While I can't give an exact timeframe for a fix to be available in the Stable version, I recommend keeping 1Password up to date so that you can receive the fix as soon as possible, and any updates will be posted on our website:
- https://releases.1password.com/
In the meantime, you can temporarily turn off the Autosubmit feature. Here's how:
- Open your browser.
- Right-click the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar and select "Settings".
- In the Autofill & save section, turn off "Sign in automatically after autofill".
I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

I've moved to the Nightly build on the browser plugin and it is working again for me.
