Hello folks,
We’re sorry about the issues that you’ve reported when using 1Password in Safari. We’re happy to share that the latest update to macOS and iOS includes improvements to Safari that resolve a bug where 1Password's suggestion menu would stop working and autofill will stop filling in certain situations.
- If you’re using a Mac, update to macOS version 15.6: Update macOS on Mac
- If you’re using an iPhone or iPad, update to iOS version 18.6: Update iOS on iPhone and iPad
We also recommend taking the time to make sure that you’re using the latest version of 1Password for Safari.Thank you for your patience as we worked with our partners at Apple to resolve the issue. FYI the 1P support folks I spoke with suggested a more convenient workaround than fully quitting and restarting Safari:
When you encounter the problem, right-click on the page's tab and select "Duplicate Tab"
In the duplicated tab the extension should work as expected. Hope this is helpful while we wait for a fix from Apple...
