1P_Dave, wasn't there a beta last summer that actually had an auto-type feature even for macOS?
I had this discussion with the team responsible for our on-boarding about that time.
The use case is for for instance Citrix Workspace, where I might not be able to paste.
KeePass has this function, even for macos.- 1P_Dave

Thanks for the reply! Auto-type has only ever been available for 1Password on Windows since the Mac version has Universal Autofill. The auto-type feature for Windows started as a Labs experiment before being promoted to a stable feature.

Thank you for the feedback!

Hello jbygden! 👋
Thanks for the question! 1Password for Mac already includes a filling feature called Universal Autofill: Use Universal Autofill in apps and browsers on your Mac
Universal Autofill allows you to fill your login credentials into any Mac app. If Universal Autofill doesn't completely fit your needs then can you tell me a little more about your use case? I'd be happy to pass along your feedback to the team.
