Autofill not working on Android tablet with keyboard

I have a Samsung Galaxy S9+ with a detachable Samsung EF-DX820  keyboard/case cover. Both the tablet and 1Password releases are current. With the physical keyboard active, autofill doesn't work.  If...

Hi ewilts​ apologies for the delay in reply. Could you try changing where autofill prompts are displayed, then let us know if you see any improvement:

  1. Open and unlock 1Password on your tablet.
  2. Open the Settings menu.
  3. Open the Autofill sub menu. 
  4. Tap "Display Autofill prompts", then select "Below the fields they relate to". 

 

Now when you tap a field to fill with the keyboard attached does an autofill prompt appear on screen? Thanks!

    This is weird. I just updated 1Password and now it's mostly working. Several times it worked, once it popped up the list of suggestions at the bottom of the screen instead of below the fields, and once it wouldn't do it at all. But it's a lot better than it was!

      Hello again ewilts, thanks for the update! I'm glad to hear switching where prompts are displayed has at least offered some improvement. If there are any websites where 1Password is consistently not filling on your tablet, let us know and we'd be happy to take a look. Thanks again!
