Hello folks,
We’re sorry about the issues that you’ve reported when using 1Password in Safari. We’re happy to share that the latest versions of macOS and iOS includes improvements to Safari that resolve a bug where 1Password's suggestion menu would stop working and autofill will stop filling in certain situations.
- If you’re using a Mac, update to the latest macOS version (15.6 or later): Update macOS on Mac
- If you’re using an iPhone or iPad, update to the latest iOS version (18.6 or later): Update iOS on iPhone and iPad
We also recommend taking the time to make sure that you’re using the latest version of 1Password for Safari.Thank you for your patience as we worked with our partners at Apple to resolve the issue. If you're still seeing the issue then please open a new thread so that we can investigate further.

I've been having a lot of problem with the browser extension for Safari for a bit of time now (maybe weeks). The problem is usually resolved if I restart Safari. I'm not willing to point a finger, though.
Just today I was struggling trying to log in to atlassian.com. The extension (triggered from the toolbar) would not populate the email field. Also, the in-field drop down would not operate. Refreshing the page did not solve it. Restarting Safari did solve it.
Quite often the 1Password extension icon in the toolbar hesitates to open. Once that happens, I know that the extension will not autofill, even though it displays the details of the site. Sometimes one window won't work, but another Safari window behaves just fine with respect to autofill.
The real answer is probably for me to file a bug report and participate in diagnosing the problem. I haven't worked up the energy to do that.
