5 years agoAutofill on Android 12 doesn't seem to work
I just got a Pixel 6 Pro and have 1Password set up. 1Password is my autofill service.
When I add a new Google account, I long-press on the password entry widget and select "Autofill" from the bubble that comes up, but nothing happens.
I've tried turning off autofill in 1Password and turning it back on, but still nothing. Any thoughts? Thanks so much!

Exactly the same issue for me as a new customer, hoping to find a better premium provider than my previous one... Having read through and tried (I think) almost all of the above, I'm struggling to maintain the motivation to persist with the changeover, as every single login and app seems to take average 5 minutes.. the browser and windows 11 program doesn't seem much better though to be fair.. i can't help but feel I must be doing something wrong somehow.. overall i like that app and i can tell it should perform much better than my experience so far so I don't want to give up just yet... can someone please advise? :)

I am a new customer, wanting to move away from Truekey (mcafee) for the family sharing functionality. However, I am seeing exact same issue reported by OP on my android 12, Samsung Note 20 5G. I have the latest OS on Samsung as well as latest Android 1password app. I have gone through the system settings accessibility settings as guided by 1password app. Rebooted my device after all changes I made.
As OP mentions, I too do not see any 1password pop up when tapping into a login field of either an app or browser. I had to turn this on for Truekey as well, but I turned that off.

Hi Guys,
1Password app is not working properly since recent Android 12 update on my Samsung S21 phone.
The issue is that it doesn't do anything when tapping to username field in lots of websites. Its not just 1 website, but rather majority of websites. This was never a case in Android 11.
It will only work if I tap to password field and then will fail to fill username part most of the time, only password. It will also fail to automatically insert 2FA code afterwards.
This is true for Firefox, Bromite, Chromium, Samsung Internet browsers, all removed and reinstalled from scratch.
I tried to play with Accessibility and Autofill options, but its still not working. Reinstalling 1Password / wiping cache doesn't work either.
Is this something you are aware of? Thanks.

I don't have a Bluetooth keyboard @peri, that is why I reacted the way I did to 1P_Timothy. I'll try to get the report to you soon.

HelenBubz I think 1P_Timothy was asking if you were using an external keyboard in order to rule out that being a problem here, rather than trying to suggest you should be using one. You should be able to fill on Android with the built-in keyboard.
If the problem is specific to you Samsung A7 tablet, there may be an issue there. I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from your Android device:
