Since you're on 1Password 7, I'm going to split out your posts into a separate thread in the Mac section for you! 1Password 8 is available now for Windows and Linux, but is still in beta for the Mac as we put the finishing touches on it. 😁
With 1Password 7 for Mac, the fill shortcut is "Fill login or show 1Password". When used in a web browser, what exactly this shortcut does will vary based on which extension you're using, and how many Login items you have for the site you're on. If you only have a single Login item for the site, using ⌘+\ will fill in the Login item. If you have multiple Login items, and are using the classic extension, 1Password mini will open and allow you to select. If you're using the newer 1Password extension, the in-line autofill menu will open and allow you to select. As an additional note, using the newer 1Password extension to fill using the shortcut does require "Integrate with 1Password app" to be enabled in the extension settings as well.
If you'd like the newer extension to not automatically drop down the in-line menu, but still be available for filling when you use the fill shortcut, you can disable the in-line menu from showing automatically by right clicking the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar, choose Settings, then scroll to the Autofill section of the menu. Disable the option "Show autofill menu on field focus".
Let me know how you get on with that!
