Thanks for the reply. Since clicking on a parent tag will also show items that are tagged with any child tags nested in that parent tag it sounds like the best option here would be to either:

  1. Tag those items with a tag that isn't nested under another tag.
  2. Use the search filter that I mentioned in my previous post to view items that are tagged with the parent tag but not any child tags.
