Being asked to supply my 1Password password too often on Windows
I am new to this product. The big picture is that it's better organized than the previous product that I have used. However, I set "Confirm my account password:" to 30 days in settings. However, on every reboot it's asking for me to type my password.
If you have to remember the password, then you become tempted to make it easy to remember and to type and that leads to weak passwords.
Any thoughts regarding why this is occurring?

Hi bigtfromaz and thanks for giving 1Password a try! 👋
It sounds like you've already found how you can customize the auto-lock settings, which is great. After restarting your device or turning on a device that's powered off, you'll still always need to put in your password again. It's an extra step, but it's an important security measure so that if you ever had a device stolen, they couldn't just restart the device and be able to get into 1Password.
Generating a random but memorable password using real words is a great way to make a strong password that isn't too much of a chore to remember. Hard to forget something like orange-assassin-yum-juice!
PS: Sorry if you got multiple email notifications about my response – I somehow posted it in triplicate.
