Benefit of using IOS Safari extension and autofill?

What is the benefit of using both autofill and the Safari extension? Autofill is necessary for other apps but having both enabled causes multiple prompts in Safari. Am I missing something in the conf...

You've hit the nail on the head. 1Password for Safari is the best way to fill and save logins in the browser on an iPhone or iPad. However, 1Password for Safari is only available for Safari so you'll want to keep Password AutoFill enabled in order to fill and save logins in other iOS apps.
