Best practice for using the same login credentials on different websites with different MFAs.

We use Active Directory at our job to manage access to different services. Some services require us to use the AD username and password but require a separate MFA. There is no option to use a different password for each different website.

What is the best way to deal with these:
1. I add the different URLs and MFAs to a single entry.
2. I create separate entries for each site that uses a separate MFA.
3. A better way?

PS. I'm unsure if this is the correct forum, but it doesn't depend on a membership type or OS.

Hello RMNL, thanks for reaching out.

Just so I understand correctly, most of these services require the same username, password but different website URL and MFA?

If so, I'd suggest creating a Login item for each service regardless if the username and password are the same to keep them separated and organized.

I hope that helps, looking forward to your reply.

You're very welcome, thanks for getting back to me RMNL. If that's the case, I'd suggest having multiple Login items for each service.

This also helps with Autofill within the browser, so that the 1Password extension fills in the correct MFA for each service.
