3 years agoBeta #14 of 2022 is now available ๐ฅ๐พ
Happy beta Tuesday RC Wednesday, everyone! ๐ค
Todayโs release is our 14th release so far this year and our second release candidate for Mac. We're getting close and things are looking gorgeous! ๐
You can find a full set of changes in our release notes for macOS , Windows , and Linux. Or, select the Whatโs New item from the feedback menu within the app.
As always, thank you so much for participating in the early access release and helping us to improve 1Password. We couldn't have gotten this far without you and the releases are so much better as a direct result of you. Thank you! ๐๐ป๐ค

We've released the fifteenth beta of the year ๐
On macOS the primary change is localized item category names. Linux and Windows also have an improvement that should make the 1Password unlock screen appear more reliably when activated from the 1Password browser extension.
The branch for this beta and the
mainbranch, where we build nightly releases, have temporarily diverged a bit. Fret not, they'll be together again soon. Depending on the exact order they come out, you may see a few changes in the localized category names. You can find a full set of changes in our release notes for macOS , Windows , and Linux. Or, select the Whatโs New item from the feedback menu within the app.

Same issue as @prakharaug!

I looked some more at the French localization and it looks like some terms are used inconsistently. I know I did not chose the term I see in the UI, but I canโt find it on Crowdin (although if you donโt know in which file the ring lives, itโs not easy to search for it โ can anyone tell me where the name of the sections in the sidebar live?? โBaliseโ is not the term used in the rest of the app for instance).

(and the French localization seems to be fully up to date on Crowding)

Categories are in English when you launch the app in French too. Some other strings also still appear in Englishโฆ (see capture).
Plus there are some tweaks that might be needed on the UI to adapt to the different localizations:Corentin

I talked with the team. The consensus is t's best to download the installer and not to use the individual update as the installer may be handling other tasks too. If needed download the latest version and update from inside the app.
There's no way to install nightly build directly. You can only install the beta then turn on the nightly option and have it update itself.
Yes, this is desired outcome and how I do it when I replace the app while testing.

DenalB Thanks! It worked! :)
I also found another bug of the nightly page for Mac versions that it always generate incorrect download link (with undefined "$ARCH" variable int the URL). Removed the variable and the link will work.
