Thanks for your encouraging reply; especially since you must be flooded with similar inquiries and because AB has done such a good job of explaining the new structure.
… At the end of the day: your encrypted 1Password data(*) exists on any device you've signed into one of our apps with. It is easy to test this: disconnect from the internet and then open and unlock 1Password…
Currently, I can find my 1P 7 database in the hierarchy under: ~/Library/Containers/2BUA8C4S2C.com.agilebits.onepassword-osx-helper/Data/Library/Backups/, can't I (because I have the MAS version)?
Or is that backup not the same as the database currently in use? If not, what is it that is actually stored remotely - now and in the future?
I have had a subscription for a couple of years now. So will nothing really change?
Depending on your answer, I should start thinking about downloading directly from the Agile Bits store and moving away from the MAS, shouldn't I; is that a seamless and trouble-free process?
Your advice much appreciated!
