2 years agoWhile activating Bitlocker, you get some text file by Windows. In 1Password, I created a "secure note", pasted the text from that text file into the secure note, gave it the title "Bitlocker recovery key
I guess you want fields for the key id and the key value. However since Microsoft deemed this so important that they created a whole text file for this with explanations, I mirrored this importance and imported the whole text instead of just the two values.
Since using the keys is taking place before the system is booting up, you will need this text on some mobile device and type it in, so clipboard-friendliness for copy+pate is not required.
