Browser Extension Failure - Safari

This has been a very frustrating journey - I feel like there is no support at all for this product. Where to begin?

  1. 1Password extension doesn't unlock when the main program is unlocked. I have to click on the icon in the Safari bar, wait a minute, and then Safari recognizes that 1Password is unlocked.
  2. Multiple failures when entering credit card information. CVV being put into Zip Code fields, e.g.
  3. Failures of the extension on websites. Currently dealing with southwest.com. 1Password gives me a pulldown menu with the accounts I use, but refuses to fill them in.

Can anyone help? I can't even find an email for support.

    I'm sorry that you're running into a few different issues with 1Password for Safari. You can find support in a few different places: 

    • Here in the community from fellow community members as well as 1Password employees like myself. 
    • On our support page. If our chatbot isn't able to help then it'll open a support ticket for you, or you can send an email directly to support@1Password.com


    That being said, I'd like you to first try the following steps:

    1. Close all open web browsers.
    2. Right-click on the 1Password icon at the top of your Mac's screen and then click Quit. Wait until the icon disappears.
    3. Double-click on 1Password from your Mac's Applications folder. 
    4. Open your web browser. 


    Let me know if you still see issues 1 and 2 after trying these steps. Once I hear back from you, I can help with the other issue as well.
