lysander That's correct! Our developers were able to add that to the app. Hopefully that will help with addressing the issue quickly for all users affected by this bug.

Hi lysander / @Woife / john1027 / edgrsanchez,
Thanks for sharing the command to rebuild the Safari extension database. We've let our friends at Apple know about this behavior, but in the meantime, this would be the best solution if you do run into trouble.

lysander's terminal command suggestion worked for me also.
Not sure how this bug slipped by the techs before final release.
Anyway, thanks for the help.

Fixed with the command listed:
This appears to be a known bug with macOS and Safari Web Extensions,
Close all open web browsers.
Open the Terminal app on your Mac: https://support.apple.com/guide/terminal/open-or-quit-terminal-apd5265185d-f365-44cb-8b09-71a064a42125/mac
Paste the following into Terminal and then press enter to run the command:
/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Frameworks/LaunchServices.framework/Support/lsregister -f -R /Applications/Safari.app
Open Safari and try to enable 1Password for Safari again.

It seems like the 1Password for Safari app is doing nothing. When I click the blue link to open Safari Preferences nothing happens.

I can find it in the App Store but it will not install properly.
