Bug? Chrome extension prompts for pw, then reverts to biometrics after click
I'm having a really annoying issue with the 1password chrome extension. Im on an M4 mac. Whenever I attempt to autofill, either by shortcut or by clicking on the browser icon, a dialogue will pop up ...
Thank you for the screenshot. It sounds like the integration with the desktop app (which handles biometric unlock) isn't working properly. Can you try the following:
- Close all open web browsers.
- Right-click on the 1Password icon at the top of your Mac's screen and then click Quit. Wait until the icon disappears.
- Double-click on 1Password from your Mac's Applications folder.
- Open your web browser and try to reproduce the issue again.
If you still see the issue then I'd like to ask you to create and share a 1Password diagnostics report from 1Password in your browser:
Send a diagnostics report (browser extension)
Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support@1password.com
