Can the user change the rules for the format of a password?

There are times I would like to change the format of the password, either to make it easier for me to remember or because the website may require a certain length, certain characters, etc. I thought ...

If you're in your web browser, you can change the recipe for the password generator by following the steps shown here:

In the main 1Password app, you can also generate a custom password:

☞ Use the password generator to change and strengthen your passwords
