Cannot remove old account

My father forgot the password to his account which was part of my 'Family'. So u deleted his account and made him a new one with a different email address. But in the apps on windows, iPhone and Chrome I am unable to remove the old account. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling the software. It just asks for a password and doesn't let me enter an email address.
