Can't change password
I have tried everything I can think of. I am not sure when I changed the password I used to know, but apparently I did and it got out of sync.
So, first I am signed in automatically in my browser but when I go to change the password I need to know the current password. Ok fine, but why is there no other option if I don't know the password in a signed in account?!
Next, I tried to sign out and then use my personal recovery code..... but I logged out too recently?! what the heck is that? So I waited about 3 minutes and tried again only to get
I am not sure what that even means.
This is pretty ridiculous that changing a password so I know what it is and can update or sign in all my devices is seemingly impossible. Meaningful error messages matter and the above is not it.

I'm sorry that you're running into issues when signing into 1Password and attempting account recovery. For your protection, 1Password will automatically abort recovery attempts if you’ve recently signed in to your account. If you'd like to use your recovery code then you'll need to avoid signing into your account for a day or so.
Regarding the missing account password, if you still have access to 1Password then you can locate your sign in information there. Search for a 1Password Account item in your vault. You should see your 1Password account password there.
If you don't see your password there then try older passwords. If that doesn't work, here is a guide on what might help if you have forgotten your account password: If you forgot your account password or you can't unlock 1Password

that doesn't help a ton when I cannot login on my new laptop because the password cannot be reset.
I don't actually have the 1 password app on my computers. I only have the App on my phone and the extension in my browser. I log in on the website in the browser to try and reset the password.
I am not sure how your reply applies to my situation - Not able to reset my password at all in any way.
