Can't dismiss the "Easily migrate your data" message [Known Issue]
I don't know why this is showing up now. I've been on 1Pass 8 for a long time??

Apologies for the trouble.
As part of the recent update to 1Password 8 for Mac, we introduced a new way for users to migrate their standalone 1Password 7 data to their 1Password account.
We are aware that this prompt is being incorrectly displayed to some users who have previously already migrated their data. If all of your data is already in 1Password 8, you can disregard the message to migrate your data.
While there isn't a way to dismiss the banner at the moment, our developers are looking to provide a fix for this soon.

Hi miguelmanalo - I'm sorry to hear about this. We're currently aware of an issue where some users will see this banner even if they've previously migrated their data at some point in the past. The development team are working on a fix and keeping 1Password up to date will be the best way to ensure that you receive the fix as soon as it's released.

After update to 8.10.33, an undismissable prompt to migrate 1Password 7 data apeared.
How can I get rid of it?
1Password Version: 8.10.33

OS Version: MacOS Sonoma 14.5

Well, it's a bit difficult to disregard a message that cannot be dismissed and furthermore is pinned to the top of the list so it takes up space and cannot even be scrolled away. Anyway, thanks for the info and looking forward to a fix.

I'm sorry again for the inconvenience. Our developers are currently testing a fix in the beta version of 1Password for Mac. If you'd like to get your hands on the fix quicker then you can switch to the beta version using this guide: Use 1Password beta releases
Once testing of the fix is complete, it'll be included in the stable version as soon as possible.

Well, I've been annoyed by this for a few weeks, but now apparently a member of my family actually clicked it, and now has all duplicated entries, some old and some new. We had truly migrated about a year ago.
So this is wonderful.

Hi panhandler - I'm sorry to hear about this. Any items migrated via this prompt should have been placed in their own vault. Do you see a vault named
Imported default
in the sidebar of 1Password for Mac? I'd recommend making a quick check to see whether any new non-migrated items have been saved there by mistake since the migration took place, then deleting the items from within that vault. - KiwiGrahamNew Contributor
Make me a "plus 1" on this annoying issue. But it also pops up occasionally on the opening splash screen and the only way to get rid of it without accepting the migration option is to quit 1Password. Given that I access several corporate 1Password accounts this seems quite dangerous and I'd have thought it should be urgently fixed.
