Can't turn off prompt from "Apple Passwords"
I have been using 1Password for years and recently added the new Apple Password app to my Mac. That was a mistake as it is nowhere as good as 1Password, but now I can't get the Apple app to go away ...

You can turn this off by following the steps below:
- Click the
Apple menu>System Settings... - Choose
General>AutoFill & Passwords. - Turn off
AutoFill Passwords and Passkeysto disable Apple Passwords autofilling.
Universal Autofill and the 1Password browser extension won't be affected by this change and will continue to work as they did before. :)

Hi GreyM1P,
I have tried the above as well as the 1Password desktop app an 1Password extension settings also mention earlier in this thread but I still have the same problem as @ewestland.
Thanks for your help.

Hi DarthBoots,
To confirm, are you seeing the prompts specifically in Safari? If so, I'd recommend following the steps in this article:
Turn off the built-in password manager in your browser
If you're still experiencing the issue, could you take a screenshot of what you're seeing and attach it to an email message addressed to support@1password.com?
