Can't upgrade to 1Password 8 on iOS

I have 1Password 8 on my Mac. I have 1Password 7 on my iPad using iOS 15.6. I tried to follow instructions on Mac for adding another device. Choice iOS iPad. Send link to iPad. Clicked link. I think it downloaded 1Password 8. Clicked on lock key symbol and nothing happens. Can't enter my password.

I can open iPassword 7 on my iPad.

Not sure where I went wrong.

    I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble installing 1Password 8 on your iPad. Do you see an error message when you tap on the 1Password 8 icon on your iPad? If you do then can you tell me what that error message says?
