Change from individual to family plan with iOS subscription started

Hi,

I started a 1Password Individual subscription some time ago, billed through the iOS store. Now I'm considering switching to the Family plan.

From the iOS subscription manager, I can only see the option to switch from annual to monthly billing.

I found some references in the official wiki: https://support.1password.com/apple-subscription/

Individual, family, and team subscriptions are available with an in-app purchase. You can’t change your account type after you’ve started your subscription.

Does this mean I can't do anything and have to wait for my subscription to end before switching to a new billing method outside of iOS?

This is a bit frustrating because my subscription ends in September, and I need to switch now.
