Chrome Browser Extension not Integrating with Desktop app in Personal Profile

1Password Extension Version: 8.10.68.14
OS Version: Windows 11
Browser and Version: Chrome Version 134.0.6998.178 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Main problem: In my personal profile in the Chrome browser, the 1Password extension does not integrate with the 1Password desktop app. I'm hopeful to find a solution, because I am a very satisfied customer (but the all of a sudden loss of integration is mind-meltingly annoying and I won't stand for it).
Details: I’ve used 1Password and Chrome together for years, and recently noticed this issue. Usually, login to the desktop app with a browser open also logs me in to the browser extension.
What I know:
1. Browser extension has the "Integrate this extension with the 1Password desktop app" setting turned on.
2. The Desktop app's "Connect with 1Password in the browser" setting is turned on.
3. Browser extension General setting Integration status equals Connection Problem, even with 1Password app unlocked.
What I've tried:
1. I have tried various versions of the "turn off all integration settings, close out all apps, reboot, turn everything back on" process.
2. I have tried removing the extension and reinstalling it.
I have followed the chatbot’s advice and set “Force Native Host Executables to Launch Directly” to Enabled in Chrome (via chrome://flags/#launch-windows-native-hosts-directly)
