5 years agoCmd-\ shortcut on Chrome
On my wife's Mac (10.14.6) running the latest Chrome (92.0.4515.159) with 1Password 7.8.7 and the 2.0.5 Chrome extension, the Cmd-\ key simply does nothing. There is a 1Password symbol in the username/password boxes, and the suggestions are displayed, so I know the extension is there and working. Everything works fine on Firefox. I've checked the preferences, and indeed Cmd-\ is bound to what you'd expect.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the extension.

@rogerl50:
The new extension is https://1password.com/downloads/mac/#browsers ;)

Will that new extension eventually be rolled out to other browsers as well, or will it be chrome-specific? (Also, I don't think your online documentation talks about this.)

Hi @rogerl50!
Extension Version: 2.0.5
This extension does not use the keyboard shortcut, it's the new version of the extension that shows suggestions directly under form fields instead. If you want the old behavior, you can install the classic extension instead:
