Constantly re-adding my account to Brave

I run 1password in Brave on Linux, and it's worked fine for years Recently, I seem to be having to re-add my account every time there's a browser update. This is new ... and irritating. Is this a ...

Thanks for reaching out!

I'm sorry that you're continually encountering the 1Password extension's "Welcome" page. You shouldn't have to repeatedly add your account each time you go to use 1Password in your browser, so I have a few questions:

  • Are you clearing the browser's cache regularly within Brave or using a third-party app?
  • Can you confirm if you have the 1Password for Linux desktop app installed?
  • Did you install Brave using APT, Flatpak, or Snap?
