Deleting 1password7 app

After I install 1password8 on an iOS device, can I safely remove the 1password7 app by simply deleting it?

    Hi @bobzing

    Yes, you can safely remove 1Password 7 from your device when you've installed 1Password 8. Make sure you also change over your autofill settings to work with 1Password 8 instead (if you haven't already), by doing the following:

    1. Open the Settings app.
    2. Tap Passwords > Password Options (or AutoFill Passwords in older versions of iOS).
    3. Make sure that:
    4. AutoFill Passwords is turned on
    5. 1Password is checked
    6. all others, especially Keychain, are unchecked.

    That way, when you tap the "šŸ”‘ Passwords" button on the keyboard in a Password field in an app, you know it'll only be 1Password 8 that responds. Hope that helps!
